| STEP 1: Locate Your Furnace | |

Locate your furnace.... typically in the garage or sometimes installed in a central area close to water heater. |
| STEP 2: Remove Front Cover | |

Remove the front cover of your furnace. You can typically do this by sliding the cover up, then pulling out or towards you. |
| STEP 3: Remove Internal Cover | |

Next, to preserve air pressure, many furnaces have a second cover inside. You remove this cover in a similar fashion. Simply push up and then pull out. |
| STEP 4: Remove Old Air Filter | |

Locate your old air filter. Often times there will be clips holding it in place, unhook and remove. Be sure to take careful note of how the filter is installed and secured so that you can easily install your replacement filter. |
| STEP 5: Install New Filter | |

In the same way you removed the filter, install your replacement. Be sure to secure the filter fimly into place so that it will not slide out of position and also make sure that you correctly face the filter by watching the air flow arrow on the side of the filter.
